No fabric folding in the shopping cart
Did you know:
Shopping carts can't possibly account for the multitudes of packaging available. Some carts use dollars to calculate shipping (i.e. free shipping over $79). For a more accurate price to ship light items, my cart uses weight (i.e. 4 to 6 oz per yard of fabric) to APPROXIMATE shipping.
When your purchase is under a pound, shipping shown in your cart is usually quite accurate. However, when your purchase is over a pound, USPS Priority rates are trickier. There are so many priority options (multitudes of flat-rate envelopes, boxes, regional rate A & B boxes, padded envelopes, etc.), as a result, the USPS calculator only returns one of the numerous rates for the cost to ship from my zip code to yours.
Because of this shortfall, a human needs to be involved to say, "Hey, there are lower priced packaging options." The shopping cart can't fold your order to fit into one of the many flat-rate or regional packages, but I can!
I refund excess shipping.

This online USPS calculator shows you regional, flat-rate, first class, priority, express rates. Now you can see how complex it can be!
I always find the most economic and and efficient way to ship. Shipping overpayments greater than $2 are generally refunded by me after you receive your package.
Speed of shipping
Fabrics, notions, patterns, and most everything in stock normally shipped in three business days. My reputation for processing in-stock orders speedily is outstanding! (see Etsy reviews here).
Speed of shipping handcrafted items varies
Items created specifically for you, such as insulated bottle totes, and any other handcrafted creation are can take up to three weeks for handcrafted.
